Aggressive batsman Usman Khan created a new national record for the fastest List A double century

 


Pakistan's aggressive batsman Usman Khan has set a new national record for the fastest List A double century.


 In the President's Cup match played at Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad, Usman Khan of Ishal Associates performed brilliantly against SNGPL and completed his double century off 131 balls.


 Usman scored 201 runs off 132 balls in his innings and retired.


 It was Pakistan's fastest double century in List A cricket, the record was previously held by Sharjeel Khan, who completed his double century in 133 balls against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while representing Sindh in 2022.


 This was the 10th List A match of Usman Khan's career, he has so far scored 652 runs at an average of 81.5 with the help of one double century, one century and four half-centuries in ten List A matches.


 Usman Khan is the seventh Pakistani cricketer to score a double century in List A matches.  Before this, Fakhar Zaman, Abid Ali, Muhammad Ali, Sharjeel Khan, Kamran Akmal and Khalid Latif have also accomplished this feat.
